Job Summary

As a Senior Product Manager, you will take a leadership role in shaping and executing the vision for Gaggle products. You’ll own the strategic roadmap for your product, drive critical initiatives, and work cross-functionally to ensure successful product development, launch, and adoption. This role requires a combination of strong market insight, technical and business acumen, and an ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Develop a long-term product vision and roadmap in alignment with company objectives. Identify growth opportunities and translate strategic goals into actionable product plans.
  • Delivery Success: Act as a key partner to engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features and improvements. Set clear priorities, remove roadblocks, and coordinate across teams to meet delivery timelines while maintaining technical excellence.
  • Market Leadership: Conduct in-depth market and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and understand evolving customer needs. Use these insights to prioritize product features and guide strategic decisions.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior product managers, fostering growth, enhancing team collaboration, and ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to drive alignment and execute on complex projects with high impact.
  • Product Lifecycle Ownership: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept and planning through development, launch, and post-launch analysis. Ensure continuous improvement by implementing insights gathered from user feedback and analytics.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success. Use data insights to make informed decisions, identify improvement areas, and adapt the roadmap to optimize results.
  • Customer Advocacy: Deeply understand customer pain points and advocate for them throughout the product development process. Regularly engage with key customers to validate concepts, gather feedback, and ensure solutions exceed expectations.
  • Go-to-Market Leadership: Collaborate with product marketing and sales to create and execute go-to-market strategies, develop positioning and messaging, and ensure the sales team is equipped with strong enablement materials.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and challenges throughout the product lifecycle and take ownership of mitigation plans to ensure timely and successful launches.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead product management role in SaaS environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with product management tools such as JIRA, Figma, Pendo, Tableau, SalesForce, and SQL.
  • Solid understanding of software development processes and technology frameworks; ability to work closely with technical teams and understand complex technical requirements.
  • Customer-first mindset, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and proactive in addressing issues before they escalate.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience building products in edtech; preferably for IT and administrative personas.
